Today, our Adventure will take us around the Saguaro Lake area and through the fun “Rolls OHV” outside of Fountain Hills. We will stop for lunch at a great scenic spot overlooking the lake and the surrounding desert.

This is a great trail that is perfect for both novice and experienced drivers alike. This trail is rated RED, but I have done it nearly a dozen times and would tend to disagree. In my opinion, this is a moderate BLUE trail rated 3 to 4 that can be conquered in a stock Jeep with off-road tires. There are no ledges or rock obstacles here, just a few long, rocky and steep hills requiring careful tire placement.

Please note that GPS Pin coordinates may not be exact! We will meet at the FIRST staging area on the Four Peaks road which is about .8 of a mile or so from the pavement, for a prompt departure at 09:00 AM. If you’re running late for whatever reason, please reach out to me directly or post in the comments/chat section of the event and we will wait for you. Please make sure to remove yourself from the event if you’re unable to attend! I’m looking forward to seeing ya’ll on another fun filled Adventure!!!

First time we ran into issues with GPS coordinates for the meeting point and had to cancel. Second time it was raining. We’re doing it this time, for real!! BUT, if we have to cancel it #3 I promise that I’ll NEVER do this trail again!!!

Effective Jan 1, 2025, Bulldog Canyon, Four Peaks, Rolls OHV, Desert Vista and St Clair areas now all require Tonto National Forest OHV Permit for each area. Sycamore Creek area will require it soon as well. Please note that you will need the OHV pass EVEN IF you already have the Tonto Pass!!! Please click HERE for the list of FAQ QUESTIONS.
