Bulldog Canyon
November 20, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm MST
Bulldog Canyon is a very fun and popular trail traversing through Tonto National Forest with scenic views of Superstition Mountains along the way. The trail is rated intermediate due to couple of tall hills we will climb. We will also be crossing a few slightly rutted out sections and small rock fields which can be intimidating for first time off-roaders. The trail can be completed in any stock Jeep with 4WD drive. Gladiators may benefit from 35 inch+ tires but not required.
We will start the trail outside of Mesa and finish in Apache Junction. This trail is expected to take around 4 hours so please pack your lunch and enough drinks for you and your passengers.
You will need to purchase a $6 pass for the trail that’s good for six months link below:

Last time we were on the trail, there was a ranger checking everyone’s passes at the entrance. Phone signal is pretty spotty in the area, we highly recommend that you print your pass or have it saved on your phone.
