I have chosen not to schedule a formal run this weekend due to Thanksgiving Holidays but then the Jeep kept nagging me to go out and play ? So….. we’ll use this Sunday to attempt and create a new route by combining Rolls OHV East, Saguaro Lake Cove and the Widowmaker. This is a SCOUTING ADVENTURE. We will go fast, may have to backtrack numerous times and road conditions are unknown.

Rolls OHV and the surrounding areas are predominantly medium 3 to 4 with deep sand in a few places. Saguaro Lake Cove on the other hand is a big question mark? It used to be pretty easy about 3 years ago before they shut down access from Butcher Jones area. It is still accessible via longer route which we will plan on taking. However, it’s unknown what lack of traffic and the fire did to the hill leading down to the Cove.

Time permitting, we will also spend an hour or so playing on the Widowmaker. Widowmaker is a small but steep hill with 5 different routes ranging in various difficulty levels, see pic.

This run is limited to NO MORE than 6 Jeeps and NO LESS than 3 Jeeps. If less than 3 Jeeps sign up for the trail, I will cancel the run. This is a small group with limited space. If you sign up and need to back out for whatever reason, please provide as much advance notice as possible!!!

Jeep Requirements: Front and rear lockers REQUIRED. Good shocks highly beneficial to absorb the bumps.
